Adding a Printer

Windows 11

(All 9th grade computers, plus the 10th, 11th, 12th ones updated by IT)

  

Windows 10

(Computers not updated yet by IT)

1. Copy one of the following printer addresses:

\\dc0-ps-02\FollowMe-Black 

\\dc0-ps-02\FollowMe-Color 

2. Open the folder icon in the bottom menu of your computer.

3. Click and delete the "Home" at the top of the window and paste in the printer address..

4. Hit Enter and let it install.

5. Repeat for the other printer address.

  

1. Copy/paste or type one of these printer addresses into the search bar (bottom left) on your laptop.

2. Hit Enter or click “Open” and let it install. 

3. Close all the pop-up windows.

4. Repeat for the other printer address.

Printer view imageAfter you've added the printers:

  1. Print your file as you usually would, but select one of the FollowMe printers. You may need to use the drop-down menu in "Destination" and select "See more..." to find them.

  1. Go to any printer in the building and log in with your student ID.  

  1. Click Print Release, if needed. 

  1. Select your document. 

  1. Tap Print. 

Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble adding printers or are printing something but it's not on the printer, check to make sure you are on the WIRELESS network, not Guest or Enroll.
