Yes, please do! Bring it to a librarian, and it will be removed from your fines.

Yes, unfortunately, per our ECASD Family Handbook (p. 47), you are still responsible for the cost of accidental repairs. It says, 

The fine stays on your account until it is taken care of, and it may limit your ability to get a MHS parking pass or to check out additional items from the library.

It is also emailed to your family and shows in your My School Bucks (lunch and school fees) account.

If payment is a significant hardship for your family, please reach out to your school counselor, and they will work with the library to come up with a solution.

It is always an option to pay a little at a time on a fine - for example, $2 a week - until it is paid off.
