Setting up Sora

1. Download the "Sora" app on your phone or tablet.

Or, click the link to use on your computer.

2. Find our district.

Eau Claire Area School District

3. Log in.

Username: your district student ID or staff username (not full email address)

Password: your district password

4. Use the icons at the bottom of your screen to navigate.

  • Explore - search for books

  • Shelf - where you'll find your checked out items, holds, and lists.

  • Me - check your settings

Searching Tips

Use the Explore button to search for titles.

Search by title, author, or subject.

Or, click in the "Search for a book" box without typing to bring up a "more options" link to narrow your search:

  • Format: ebook or audiobook
  • Audience level: juvenile, young adult, or adult
  • Limit to available books
  • Sort by "Date added" to see the newest books
