Yes, unfortunately, per our ECASD Family Student Handbook, you are still responsible for the cost of accidental damage.

Fines can be paid in the library with cash or check (made out to ECASD). Online payments can be made in your My School Bucks account; fines are in the Invoices.

The fine stays on your account until it is taken care of, and it may limit your ability to get a MHS parking pass or to check out additional items from the library.

It is also emailed to your family and shows in your My School Bucks (lunch and school fees) account.

If payment is a significant hardship for your family, please reach out to your school counselor, and they will work with the library to come up with a solution.

It is always an option to pay a little at a time on a fine - for example, $2 a week - until it is paid off.
