Citing Sources of Information

Any time you use information from another source, you need to cite that source. This lends credibility to your work, as people will know that you've consulted outside information and are not just "making it up." This is especially important when presenting an argument or point of view.

We recommend you use NoodleTools to cite your sources when doing research, and you can find the directions on how to use it below. If you'd like to create your citations from scratch, Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL) is a great resource.
